I was excited to try Joe and the Juice in Mission Valley. The shops in New York City are great! However, at this location they have no half and half for your coffee. Also-no regular sugar; artificial saccharine only. When I asked about both items to the young lady at the counter, she smiled, shrugged, and looked at me like I had three heads.

I saw a video about this shop on tiktok and decided to give it a try. The team was so lively and had the best vibe. Sienna was super helpful and told me they’re doing 15% off and a free coffee or matcha for new app users! I thought it was really cool that their team tells you about freebies and benefits, this felt super genuine. The atmosphere of the cafe was so fun, they play great music, have plenty of lobby space to sit and cute patio seating with lots of room as well. Super unique Shop compared to a lot of cafes opening up in SD right now. I’ve been spending time here to study and get work done and it’s been my favorite in Mission Valley to hangout at recently.

I’m a fan of the brand and the items were good as anywhere in the world. Great for takeaway or to hang out inside. Looking forward to returning!

This newly opened café is absolutely adorable — everything is pink, soft, and beautifully styled, making it such a cute spot to visit. I ordered a matcha latte but received an iced matcha latte instead. The matcha latte wasn’t sweet at all, and I was expecting it to be sweeter. Since it was their opening day and extremely busy, I completely understand how the mix-up happened. The carrot cake was delicious, moist, and nicely balanced in sweetness. Overall, the café has a lovely atmosphere, and I’d be happy to visit again when things settle down.
